Systeme.io pricing explained: every plan and its limits
Four plans that differ mainly in contacts, funnels and courses. Here is what each one covers, what costs extra, and how to pick without overpaying.
This page contains paid links to Systeme.io. We may earn a commission if you sign up through them. Disclosure.
Systeme.io's pricing is simpler than most funnel builders: four plans, the same features on all of them, and limits that grow as you pay more. The catch is knowing which limit you will hit first. This page lays out every plan from Systeme.io's own pricing page and help center (checked October 28, 2026), the costs that sit outside the plan, and a simple way to choose.
Systeme.io plans at a glance
| Plan | Monthly price | Contacts | Sales funnels | Courses | Notable extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 2,000 | 3 | 1 | 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 affiliate program |
| Startup | $17 | 5,000 | 10 | 5 | More room for funnels and products |
| Webinar | $47 | 10,000 | 50 | 20 | Evergreen webinars |
| Unlimited | $97 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited automation rules |
Annual billing is offered with "2 months free," per the pricing page. Systeme.io's own FAQ sums up the plans the same way: they are "based primarily on contact limits."
What every plan includes
According to the pricing page, all plans, including Free, come with:
- Unlimited email sends to your contacts.
- 0% Systeme.io transaction fees on sales through Stripe, PayPal and the other supported processors.
- Your own affiliate program, so other people can promote your products for a commission.
- Unlimited sub-accounts, each a full account with the same limits as your plan at no extra cost. On the $47 plan, for example, every sub-account also gets 50 funnels.
- Online support by email, plus unlimited file storage for your pages.
The pricing page lists "unlimited students" among the features on all plans, while its FAQ mentions a 500-student limit on Free. Because the two statements conflict, check your account before you plan a large free course.
The Free plan: what it really covers
The Free plan is not a trial. Systeme.io says it never expires and needs no credit card. It covers a complete starter funnel: an opt-in page, a sales page, checkout, a course and email follow-up.
The limits that matter most:
- 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign, per the plan FAQ, so keep sequences simple.
- 3 sales funnels, so spend them on what earns: a lead magnet funnel, a sales funnel and one spare.
- A $10,000 lifetime sales limit. Systeme.io's help center says a warning banner appears at $8,000 and payment pages stop accepting new sales at $10,000 until you upgrade. Affiliate commissions you earn do not count (help center).
We cover setup step by step in the Systeme.io free plan walkthrough.
Startup ($17/month): for a growing list
Startup raises contacts to 5,000, funnels to 10 and courses to 5. It is the natural first upgrade when your list passes 2,000, when you need more than three funnels, or when your sales approach the free plan's lifetime cap. Systeme.io's FAQ recommends it for 2,000 to 5,000 contacts.
Webinar ($47/month): for evergreen webinars
Webinar adds evergreen (automated) webinars and raises the limits to 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels and 20 courses. Systeme.io describes evergreen webinars as a pre-recorded webinar scheduled to play at set times, with registration through your funnel and reminder emails (automated webinars). If your sales process is a webinar, this is the plan built for it; our webinar funnel template shows the pages and emails you need.
Unlimited ($97/month): for big lists and catalogs
Unlimited removes the caps on contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules. It makes sense once you pass 10,000 contacts or run many products and funnels at once. Systeme.io's FAQ points anyone over 10,000 contacts to this plan.
Costs outside your plan
The plan price is not the whole bill. Budget for:
- Payment processing. Systeme.io adds no transaction fee, but your processor does. Stripe's standard rate is 2.9% plus 30 cents per successful domestic card charge (Stripe pricing).
- Text messages. SMS is sent through your own Twilio account, and you pay Twilio per message; Systeme.io says it does not add fees on top (SMS marketing).
- Your domain. You can start on a free Systeme.io subdomain, but a custom domain is bought from a registrar. Our sister site explains how to connect a custom domain to Systeme.io.
- Other tools you still need, such as a video host for course lessons if you prefer one, or design software for graphics.
Upgrading, downgrading and cancelling
Systeme.io's help center explains how plan changes work (help center):
- Upgrading with a card: the remaining time on your current plan is converted into a free trial of the new plan, and you are charged the full new price when that trial ends.
- Upgrading with PayPal: PayPal does not support prorated payments, so you are charged the full price of the new plan right away and need to contact support to cancel the old subscription.
- Downgrading: contact support for a custom order form for the lower plan. Stay within the lower plan's limits, because going over can lead to an automatic upgrade or a restricted account.
- Cancelling: you keep your current plan until the next billing date, then the account reverts to the Free plan rather than closing, per the pricing page FAQ.
Which plan should you choose?
Start with the plan that fits the limit you will hit first:
- Under 2,000 contacts, three funnels or fewer, and under $10,000 in lifetime sales: Free.
- 2,000 to 5,000 contacts or up to 10 funnels: Startup.
- You sell with an automated webinar, or have 5,000 to 10,000 contacts: Webinar.
- Over 10,000 contacts, or you need many funnels and automations: Unlimited.
Do not pay ahead of need. Because the features are the same on every plan, upgrading later adds room, not new tools you have to learn. Use the funnel calculator to check that a funnel pays for its plan before you upgrade.
Worked examples: which plan three businesses would need
These are made-up examples to show how the limits decide the plan, not typical results.
- A new coach with 600 email subscribers, one free guide and one paid program. One lead magnet funnel and one sales funnel fit within the Free plan's three funnels and 2,000 contacts. Cost: $0, plus payment processor fees when someone buys. The thing to watch is the single automation rule: one welcome sequence, not five.
- A course creator with 3,500 subscribers selling three courses through six funnels. That is past the Free plan on contacts, funnels and courses. Startup covers 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses for $17 a month, or $204 a year at the monthly price.
- A consultant who sells through a weekly automated webinar to a list of 7,000. The evergreen webinar alone points to the Webinar plan at $47 a month, and its 10,000-contact limit leaves room to grow.
In each case the deciding limit is different: automation count for the coach, funnels and courses for the creator, the webinar feature for the consultant. Work out which limit you will hit first and buy for that.
Monthly or annual billing?
Annual billing is offered with "2 months free," per the pricing page. It is worth it once you are sure you will stay on the same plan for a year. If your list is growing fast and you expect to move up a tier within a few months, stay monthly until things settle, then switch. On a card, an upgrade turns the time left on your current plan into a free trial of the new one rather than a refund.
Sub-accounts: useful if you build for clients
Every Systeme.io plan, including Free, allows unlimited sub-accounts, and each one carries the full limits of your plan (pricing). If you build funnels for a few clients or run more than one brand, one paid plan can cover several separate businesses, each with its own contacts, funnels and emails. Check the terms if you plan to charge clients for access, and keep each client's data in its own sub-account from day one.
