Webinar funnel template

A webinar funnel sells by teaching first. Here is the full page and email map, and when an evergreen (recorded) webinar makes sense.

This page contains paid links to Systeme.io. We may earn a commission if you sign up through them. Disclosure.

A webinar funnel invites people to a training, teaches something useful for 30 to 60 minutes, and ends with an offer. It suits higher-priced products and services, because the training builds the trust a cold sales page cannot.

Run your first webinars live. You learn which questions people ask and where they drop off, and you can fix the talk before you record the version that runs on autopilot. When you do switch to evergreen, be clear that it is a recorded session.

The pages

Registration page

Title that names the result, the date and time with time zone (or "starts every hour" for evergreen), three things they will learn, a short presenter line and a name-and-email form.

Confirmation page

"You are registered" with an add-to-calendar link, the join link (or a note that it is coming by email), and one sentence on what to prepare.

Replay page

Post the recording for a limited and honest window, for example 48 hours, with the offer button under the video.

Offer page

A plain recap of the offer for people who want to read rather than watch, with checkout or a booking calendar.

The reminder emails

  1. On registration: confirmation, date, join link.
  2. 24 hours before: what they will learn and why it matters to them.
  3. 1 hour before: the join link again.
  4. Starting now: one line and the link.
  5. After the session: replay link and offer.
  6. Replay closing: the final reminder and any deadline.

Structure of the talk

  • Opening (5 minutes): who it is for and what they will walk away with.
  • Teaching (25 to 40 minutes): three ideas or steps, each with an example.
  • Offer (10 minutes): what you sell, what is included, the price, who it is for and not for.
  • Questions (10 minutes): answer the real objections.

Running it on Systeme.io

Systeme.io describes its evergreen webinar feature as pre-recording a webinar and scheduling it to play on repeat, with registration through your funnel and reminder emails. On its pricing page, evergreen webinars come with the Webinar plan at $47 a month (10,000 contacts, 50 sales funnels), not the free plan. You can still run a live webinar funnel on the free plan by building the registration, confirmation and offer pages in Systeme.io and presenting live in a separate meeting tool.

Numbers to watch

  • Registration rate (registrations divided by page visitors)
  • Show-up rate (live attendees divided by registrations)
  • Sales per 100 registrants, counting replay buyers

Put your own numbers into the funnel calculator by treating registrants as leads.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a sales webinar be?

Long enough to teach three useful ideas and present the offer clearly, which is usually 45 to 60 minutes including questions. Shorter is fine if the topic is narrow.

Is an evergreen webinar deceptive?

Not if you are honest about it. Do not label a recording as live, invent fake attendee counts or claim a deadline that resets for every viewer.

Can I run a webinar funnel on a free plan?

You can build the registration and offer pages on Systeme.io's free plan and present live in another tool. Automated evergreen webinars are listed with Systeme.io's Webinar plan.
